Small Changes
/In these strange times I find myself looking and making small changes. I am sure you have been commenting to friends and family that it has been difficult being locked in our homes and isolated from those we love. We are here together, in spirit.
Personally, I have have been making small changes. Those small changes seem to come from how our family is eating, the activity that we are getting, the new roles that we have, and our new set of responsibilities. Our homes are where our hearts are; where our days begin and end. Being home has given the gift of reflection! I am thankful for the time spent with my littles, that are growing before my eyes, and this extra time I am able to spend with them.
Your home is your personal stamp, a place that you can surround yourself with things that make you happy. I find lighting my favorite candles, dressing my space, and small updates and projects keep me a bit more grounded. If you have been in the Proven Shop, you know that I am a wee bit of an antique industrial enthusiast. Sharing a bit of my home zen zone in a pic today, which includes a few of my favorite art and design books along with an industrial repurposed tool box/ parts bin salvaged last year.
Since spending more quality time at home I have begun to notice the small details that that need tending to. Large projects that are on the horizon are seeping into my mind but this week focusing on those “honey-do-lists” has given me a great sense of accomplishment. If you find yourself dreaming big thoughts of home renovation and want to see what that might look like, we have cut our “in home” design services in half this week!
