Renovation makes homes beautiful but the true reason to renovate should always be to upgrade the function. This kitchens past life was walled in, it was cut off from the living and dining rooms, and lived small. We didn’t massively change the foot print in this kitchen, but what we did actually let the space breath larger. Eliminating a large closed in wall where the peninsula currently is made a massive difference in this home. Color #inspo came from the crisp cool colors of the artic. Bright white and grey were the focus of the hardlines in this space but we chose to soften the walls with a warmer grey setting this color palette in contrast and incorporating the newly opened living spaces. Pull up a bar stool, enjoy the ambience!
